Fiesta Hermosa

The Fiesta Hermosa is known as the “Largest Arts & Crafts Fair in Southern California.” This unique event features approximately 300 artists including painters, ceramicists, jewelers, photographers, sculptors, and handicrafters of many kinds. Fiesta Hermosa is held twice a year on Memorial Day and Labor Day Weekends (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) in beautiful downtown Hermosa Beach.

When you attend Fiesta Hermosa, you not only get to experience a wide variety of art, but also a great selection of music and cuisine. There is live music on two main stages, as well as a smaller satellite stage outside Java Man. These fun spots offer a full schedule of music for everyone.  In the food court, a variety of vendors offer a great selection of delicious treats, while the AB InBev-sponsored Charity Beer & Wine Garden offers beer, wine and beeritas, with the proceeds going to benefit a number of local charities.

Along with food, drinks, music and art, families can also enjoy plenty of activities geared towards children. The Kiddie Carnival features a thrilling 30 foot slide, mechanical rides, face painting, pony rides, a petting zoo and games for kids from ages 3 to 10 years. Moms even have their own space! In the tranquil “Mommy Zone,” moms can change diapers, nurse babies, freshen up and even just relax. You can also join in a special service to honor service men and women during the Memorial Celebration May 28 at noon by the pier.

Local Hermosa Beach residents are encouraged to walk or bike to Fiesta Hermosa. If you bike, be sure to take advantage of the popular and free bike valet lot staffed by Hermosa Cyclery. Along with valet services, they offer air for tires and on-site diagnostic checkups. The bike lot is located just south of the Hermosa Beach Pier and is open from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily. Free shuttle buses are also available and run from Northrop Grumman at the southwest corner of Aviation Boulevard and 33rd St. straight to Fiesta Hermosa from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. daily.
